Material Used: 10,000m² of Flowcrete & PCT Chemie Screeds, known for their durability and high performance.
Application Method: The screeds were applied across multiple blocks within the prison complex, ensuring a consistent and robust flooring solution.

The Full Sutton Prison project is notable for being the first net zero carbon prison in operation in the UK. Key sustainable design features include:
Energy Efficiency: The prison will run fully on electricity, incorporating solar panels, heat pumps, and efficient lighting systems to reduce energy demand.
Modern Methods of Construction (MMC): Kier is using MMC and cement replacement to further reduce embodied carbon.
Biofuel and Renewable Sources: The project utilises biofuel and renewable energy sources to minimise its carbon footprint.
